Q1: What makes Yng Guang’s laser protection panels different?
We are the only manufacturer in Taiwan producing laser protection acrylic filters in-house. Unlike resellers of imports, we control formulation and casting, use optical-grade PMMA, and provide verified spectral performance across 190–540 nm and 10.6 μm CO₂. This means stable quality, faster lead times, and flexible customization.
Q2: Which wavelengths do the panels cover?
Broad protection from UV-C / UV-B / UV-A through visible blue (≈400–500 nm) and green (500–540 nm, incl. 532 nm Nd:YAG), plus strong absorption at 10.6 μm CO₂. Outside the blocked bands, visible transmission remains high for clear observation.
Q3: Do you have test data or certifications?
Yes. Each grade comes with in-house spectrophotometric data (OD curves) and can be supported by international third-party certifications (e.g., SGS, UL) upon request.
Q4: How do I choose the right OD level for my laser?
The required OD depends on wavelength, output power, and application. Share your laser model and usage (e.g., cutting, marking, medical), and our technical team will recommend an OD that balances safety and visibility.
Q5: Will it also protect against IR leakage from green lasers?
Some 532 nm DPSS systems emit residual IR (e.g., 1064 nm). Our panels are designed to consider multi-band risks and can be specified to block both visible green and IR leakage where required.
Q6: What customization and sizes are available?
We offer precision cutting up to 1220 × 2440 mm, with tailored OD levels, thicknesses, and mounting options to suit labs, industrial enclosures, and medical systems.
Q7: What about visibility and durability?
With optical-grade PMMA, our panels maintain high visible transmission (>80% in 600–1100 nm) for clear viewing. They also offer excellent chemical stability and surface hardness suitable for daily operation.
