Specialized Acrylic
Cast Acrylic Expert
YG HeatStable™ Acrylic Sheet is engineered for high-temperature applications, offering exceptional thermal stability and shape retention. Even under prolonged heat exposure, the sheet remains flat, resists softening, and does not warp. It is ideal for use in industrial machine windows, laboratory equipment, and other transparent protective components requiring heat resistance.
This series has been tested by the SGS Materials & Engineering Laboratory in accordance with ASTM D648-18 Method B (HDT @ 0.455 MPa), and is classified into two grades based on its Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT):
| Property | Standard Acrylic | YG HeatStable™ 110 | YG HeatStable™ 120 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) | Approx. 80 °C | 111.0 °C (SGS Tested / ASTM D648-18) | 120.3 °C (SGS Tested / ASTM D648-18) |
| Softening Temperature | 100–110 °C | 118–123 °C | 125–131 °C |
| High-Temperature Stability | Easily deforms or warps under heat | Stable in mid- to high-temperature environments with minimal deformation | Remains flat and warp-free even under continuous high-temperature exposure |
| Optical Transparency | High clarity | High clarity | High clarity |
| Durability | Suitable for general indoor use | Ideal for long-term moderate-temperature use | Stable for extended high-temperature applications |
| Price Range | Standard grade (lowest) | Economical grade with high cost-performance ratio | Premium grade with slightly higher cost |
| Recommended Applications | Display cases, decorative panels, signage | Machine covers, general industrial windows | High-temperature equipment windows, laboratory and medical uses |
※ All YG HeatStable™ sheets are available in customized thicknesses and dimensions upon request, suitable for various high-temperature applications.
